I was at the WoodForest Bank in Joliet Illinois and had a worst experience of my life. I asked a middle aged personal banker if she could help me get some change for $100.

She got rude to me and said she can't give me change and stepped away to take a personal phone call without explaining why. Once she was done with her personal business and upon inquiring why she can't give me change for $100 she got more rude and stated that she is busy right now and if I have any issues I should go elsewhere. Being furious about how I was being treated by her I asked to speak with a manager she said she is the manager. When I asked her who her manager was she said he is not working and further proceeded to say "tell him I said hi when you talk to him".

I can't believe how this manager treated me. I think her reason for treating me like this was because she is rude and is racist against African Americans.

I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and with civil rights division of Department of Justice. I would suggest that no one should bank there.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Fix your service and deal with the racest employee !!.

Yes the women in that joliet woodforest walmart is Crystal Costello one of the managers. I never go to her, she is rude, and never helps.

Last time she ordered the debit card for me and did not tell me about the fee. when I asked her about it she got ignorant. She said that when I opened the account 4 years ago I was told about the fee and she does not feel the need to explainnagain. I agree with you that she has issues with non white customers.

Being black myself I can feel that she is racist.

You should see the tall white guy Kyle or the middle eastern manager Obada they always help me. I will also sue this women, and the bank for hiring a black hating employee.

Its obvious customer service isn't doing anything about the issues because most of the complaints are the same over the last couple years, nasty attitudes, stealing peoples money and telling lies to people to draw them in all the while charging fees and putting ungodly holds on checks just to make accounts rack up fees. I was going to open an account here but I changed my mind.

The person I know just opened the account and its a nightmare!!

I am going to tell them to close their account. This is ridiculous!!
